BROOKLYN
HEIGHTS - STEPS TO THE PROMENADE
Full Floor overlooking the East River and
Manhattan skyline
Bedrooms: 1 + home office, or second bedroom for the little one
Baths: 1
Rent: $2975
Available: Rented
Building:
Prewar, brownstone townhouse. The
building is on Columbia Heights between Clark and Pierrepont Streets.
It is only one stop into Brooklyn on the 2,3 express trains to Clark
Street and 1.5 blocks to Montague Street.
Kitchen:
Here we go! We have a huge BRAND NEW kitchen with a full sized
fridge, gas stove, dishwasher and fantastic counter space. There is
a large window in the kitchen that looks out onto the promenade, East
River and of course the Manhattan skyline. Cooking dinner here will
be like cooking at the River Cafe!
Living :
HUGE! The living room also enjoys views of the Manhattan skyline
which are complemented by enormous bay windows. We'd say the
ceilings are between 13 and 15 feet high, which add to the airiness of the
apartment. There is also a decorative fireplace that is topped by a
ceiling-height gilt-framed mirror!
Bedroom: We don't want to be
repetitive, so we'll just say that the bedroom is about the same size as
the living room (may be a tad larger) and shares all of the same special
qualities as the living room except the skyline views. Look at the
photos to see for yourself.
Office:
There is a windowed room off of the bedroom that is ideal for a home
office or a bedroom for a small child. This area is approximately 7
X 17. . . very functional.
One more
thing: You won't believe the closet space!
A note
from Russell: "When I used to reside in Cobble Hill I always
enjoyed walking on the promenade. I would gaze at the beautiful buildings
overlooking the water and fantasize about what they looked like inside.
It's rare when an apartment meets my expectations, but this has.
This is going to be a wonderful home for someone."
. . . did we mention this is a great location? |
